Dr. DENG Liangwei

 

DENG Liangwei, male, born in April 1966, Doctoral Tutor, the Professor and General Engineer of Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA), The chief expert for the Innovation Team of Biogas Treatment of Poultry Fecal Residue and Pollution Control of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. DENG had earned a Bachelor of Agriculture from Sichuan Agricultural University in 1987, a Master of Science from Nanjing University in 1996 and a Doctor of Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2007. He used to engage in environmental monitoring in  Environmental Protection Agency of Anyue county, Sichuan and now working on waste water, solid waste disposal and research of biogas project, in addition, DENG has undertaken more than 10 national and provincial research projects, including biogas power utilization of Mengniu Aoya international demonstration farm with 10000 cows, wastewater treatment engineering of Hangzhou lighthouse breeding farm with 200000 pigs and pubilished more than 100 research papers, involved in the preparation of 8 monographs and 6 national invention patent licenses and 2 utility model patent licenses, 1 State-class Second Prize for Progress in Science and Technology (the fifth completed) and 1 Province-class First Prize(the first completed). DENG has made great achievements and further research in the field of livestock and poultry waste disposal, inventing the new process of anaerobic adding raw wastewater intermittent aeration, separation of wastewater into high content liquid and low content liquid in pig farms, the processing technology about integrated anaerobic fermentation and wetland wastewater, anaerobic biological desulfurization technology for biogas and summarizing three patterns of livestock and poultry waste disposal.

Current research topics include: the construction project of national pig industry technical system with the annual cost of 700,000 yuan and total funds of 3.5 million yuan, and the innovation team of biogas treatment of poultry fecal residue and pollution control of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences with the annual cost of 1.5 million yuan.
