Innovative Team for High-Quality Biofuels Conducts Professional Training for Research Assistants and Graduate Students

To help research assistants and graduate students strengthen their safety awareness and quickly integrate into the team’s scientific research activities, the Innovative Team for High-Quality Biofuels organized a professional training program from June 1 to 3, 2026.

Relevant staff members introduced the history and development of the institute, organizational structure, and the team’s major research directions. The training focused on laboratory safety regulations, including laboratory safety standards, risk prevention and control measures, and emergency response procedures for unexpected incidents. On-site demonstrations and hands-on training for related instruments and equipment were also conducted, followed by a knowledge assessment covering the training content.

The program additionally included visits to the laboratories of the Anaerobic Team, Straw Team, Livestock Waste Control Team, and Synthetic Biology Team at the Rennan Campus, as well as various functional areas of the Chengdu Center. Staff members from the Training Center were invited to introduce the institute’s international training programs.

Participants noted that the training was informative and highly relevant. Through the program, they gained a systematic understanding of the institute and the team’s development, enhanced their knowledge of scientific research work, and further mastered laboratory safety standards and operational skills for scientific instruments and equipment.

Moving forward, the Innovative Team for High-Quality Biofuels will continue improving its professional training mechanism, further strengthen researchers’ awareness of workplace safety and comprehensive research capabilities, and promote the rapid development of the team’s science and technology commercialization efforts while firmly safeguarding the bottom line of safety production.
