BIOMA Research Center for Renewable Energy Product Testing Technology Participates in the Launch Ceremony of Anhui Province’s 2026 “Safety Production Month” Activities in the Rural Energy Sector and Delivers Specialized Training
From May 28 to 29, the 2026 Anhui Province Emergency Drill for Rural Biogas Production Safety Accidents and Rural Energy Safety Management Training Program was successfully held in Huaishang District, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. The Research Center for Renewable Energy Product Testing Technology of the Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (BIOMA) was invited to participate throughout the event and delivered specialized lectures during the training program, contributing to the strengthening of rural energy safety management and the establishment of a solid safety protection framework in Anhui Province.

The event was hosted by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Anhui Province and jointly organized by the Anhui Rural Energy Station, Bengbu Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the People’s Government of Huaishang District. On the morning of May 29, the launch ceremony for Anhui Province’s 2026 “Safety Production Month” activities in the rural energy sector was officially held. Tang Yang, Deputy Director General of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Anhui Province, and Wu Yongbin, Vice Mayor of Bengbu City, attended the ceremony and delivered remarks. Experts from the Anhui Provincial Department of Emergency Management provided on-site guidance and evaluation. More than 120 participants, including officials from agricultural and rural affairs departments, rural energy professionals, and emergency rescue personnel from across the province, attended the event for observation and exchange.

During the rural energy safety management training program, experts from BIOMA’s Research Center for Renewable Energy Product Testing Technology delivered专题 lectures based on industry development needs and grassroots regulatory requirements, focusing on key aspects of rural energy safety production. The training covered critical topics including rural biogas safety management standards, risk identification and control for confined space operations, hidden hazard investigation and remediation, and accident prevention. Through detailed analyses of representative cases, the lectures systematically explained both theoretical knowledge and practical management techniques, effectively enhancing the capabilities of frontline personnel in safety supervision, risk prevention, and standardized operations.

A highlight of the event was the emergency drill for rural biogas production safety accidents. The drill simulated two accident scenarios: gas leakage and flash explosion at a biogas blower outlet, and personnel falling into a mixing tank area. Four modules were conducted, including “Accident Occurrence and Information Reporting,” “Emergency Response Initiation and Initial Disposal,” “Coordinated Emergency Handling,” and “Response Termination and Post-Accident Disposal.” The exercise effectively tested the scientific basis, relevance, and operability of emergency response plans, significantly improving participants’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities while providing valuable practical experience for rural energy safety management in Anhui Province.
Safety production in the rural energy sector is an important safeguard for rural revitalization and high-quality agricultural and rural development. Given the sector’s wide distribution and complex operational scenarios, safety management remains a critical task. As a national authoritative scientific research and quality inspection institution in the field of rural energy, BIOMA and its Research Center for Renewable Energy Product Testing Technology have long been engaged in rural biogas safety supervision, risk assessment, and technical standard development, and possess CMA qualifications and related technical capabilities.
Moving forward, the Research Center for Renewable Energy Product Testing Technology of BIOMA will continue to leverage its professional and technical strengths, deepen cooperation and exchanges with agricultural and rural authorities across the country, and continuously provide services including safety training, technical support, and hazard investigation. The Center will further promote advanced practices in rural energy safety management, support the improvement of agricultural and rural safety supervision systems, and facilitate the coordinated advancement of green and low-carbon rural energy development and safe production, contributing to the sustained improvement of safety conditions in China’s rural energy sector.
