Ran Yi, Director of the Research Center for Renewable Energy Product Testing Technology, introduced key safety practices for the operation of household biogas systems based on farmers' practical experiences. Dr. Lü Yanfeng provided a detailed explanation of the outdoor decommissioning and landfill disposal procedures for household biogas digesters.

For many consecutive years, BIOMA has supported the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in organizing national biogas safety drills. Three BIOMA experts currently serve on the Ministry's Expert Panel on Rural Biogas Safety. In recent years, the institute has organized biogas safety training programs in Sichuan, Anhui, Chongqing, and other regions, providing both theoretical instruction and hands-on training on confined-space operations, hazard identification and mitigation, and emergency response, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of rural biogas safety management.

The event was attended by He Xiaodan, Director of the Division of Energy and Ecology, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Li Huibin, Chief Agronomist of the Rural Energy and Environment Agency, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; experts in the rural biogas sector; and officials and technical staff from rural energy management authorities across China's provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
