To improve the installation technology, operations management and quality testing of FRP biogas plant in developing countries and promote the cross-border trade of FRP biogas plant,”International FRP Biogas Plant Standardization Seminar in 2014”organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was held in Chengdu Shuangliu from March 11 to March 13, 2014. 20 technical experts and officials from China, Bangladesh and Nepal were invited to this seminar.

Xia zuzhang, project official of the ADB made an important speech. And representatives of China, Bangladesh and Nepal were making respective introductions of their own countries in the meeting. Participants warmly discussed different issues during the seminar and field trips, covering the themes of “The industrial standard of national FRP biogas plant”,” The FRP materials testing”, “The FRP biogas plant in the South Asian market”. And Participants were also interested in problems of trade transportation, customs inspection, remote installation, damaged repairing of long-distance transport as well as related equipment of FRP biogas plant in Bangladesh, Nepal and other countries. Representatives also exchanged views on issues of installation and operation of FRP biogas plant in extreme environmental conditions, the charge of central gas supply and biogas slurry, related subsidies of government. Participants visited Chengdu Shuangliu Yongan biogas cooperative and a pig farm’s central gas supply in Chengdu Qingbaijiang district, moreover, a molded production line of FRP biogas plant in Hong Qi Company.

Zheng Shixuan, senior engineer and biogas quality test expert of China Biogas Society and China Association of Rural Energy Industry, Wu libin, associate professor of the Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA), Luo Xianjun, engineer of Shuangliu Yongan Biogas Cooperative, Lai Shiyong, director general of Agricultural Bureau in Qingbaijiang District and so on attended this seminar as Chinese delegates.  

Delegates highly praised this seminar organized by the Asian Development Bank in the hometown of biogas Chengdu. They were happy to share China's successful experience in manufacturing FRP biogas plant by on-scene observation.
