On August 17, 2016, a 25-member delegation from Sangmyung University and Jeju National University visited BIOMA to know the research and development of renewable energy in BIOMA.

Mr. Zhang Min, director of scientific research development department, introduced BIOMA to the delegation from the perspectives of research orientation, research team, strengths and advantages. And then the delegation visited open laboratory of microbiology research center, laboratories of biomass energy research center and biogas engineering research center. Researchers introduced the situation of these laboratories to the delegation including equipment, features and current research.

Both sides exchanged academic views in bioenergy sector. The delegation said the visit was fruitful and expressed wish to further international cooperation in terms of energy microorganism, biogas engineering and personnel training.
