On July 15, 2021, in Beijing, Mr. Wang Dengshan, Director General of BIOMA met with Mr. Rodrigo Delgado, Ambassador of Costa Rica in China.

Mr. Wang Dengshan reviewed the China-Aid training programs for developing countries including Costa Rica and introduced the significance of developing biogas in reaching the goals of carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutralization by 2060. He also expressed the wish to cooperate with institutions of Costa Rica for the study and mode extension in regard of green circular mechanism integrating planting and breeding. Mr. Rodrigo Delgado agreed with the concept of developing biogas as a solution to the problems including environmental pollution, energy shortage and climate change. He expressed his support to biogas cooperation for the benefit of Costa Rican people and the establishment of a new model representing concrete cooperation in Latin America.
