BIOMA Holds Training Course for Argentina

 

On October 12, the “Training Course on Biogas Technology for Argentina “opened in Chengdu at Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA). The course is sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture of China and organized by BIOMA. Ms. CAI Ping, CPC Party Secretary & Deputy Director General of BIOMA, was present at the opening ceremony.

Ms. CAI Ping extended warm welcome to all participants and introduced the contributions of biogas to developing rural energies and improving farmers’ living standards. She also introduced the rich experience and strong research capabilities of BIOMA and hoped that this training could strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between China and Argentina.

Participant representative Fernando from Argentina expressed gratitude to the Chinese government in his speech and highly praised the role of biogas in solving fertilizer and energy problems and he hoped to learn biogas technology and management experience from China.

This course is the 70th training session held by BIOMA since its establishment. It lasts for 15 days from October 11 to October 25, and has 15 participants from Argentina.
