On October 25, the closing ceremony of the “Training Course on Biogas Technology for Argentina”was held in Chengdu at Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA). The course is sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) of China and organized by BIOMA. Senior officials from MoA and BIOMA were present at the closing ceremony.

Mr. LI Bin, Director at Foreign Economic Cooperation Center ofMoA extended congratulations to the successful completion of the training course and expressed the hope that participants would take back to Argentina the biogas technologyand make even greater achievements on biogas cooperation between China and Argentina.

BIOMA’s Deputy Director General Ms. Cai Ping highly praised the great enthusiasmof participants in learning biogas knowledge during the course and expressed the hope that they could stay in touch with BIOMA when the apply the technology in Argentina so as to make furthercooperation and make contributions to protecting world environment.

Participant representative Maximiliano Morronefrom Argentina expressed gratitude to MoA of China and BIOMA for inviting participants to China to learn biogas. He said that participants had gained lots of useful biogas knowledge and would apply it to the renewable energy promotion process in Argentina.

This course is the 70th training session held by BIOMA since its establishment. It lasts for 15 days from October 11 to October 25, and has 15 participants from Argentina.
