BIOMA Holds Training Course on Biogas and Circular Agriculture

  

On August 25, the “Training Course on Biogas and Circular Agriculture “opened in Chengdu at Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA). The course is sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture of China and organized by BIOMA. Senior officials from Sichuan Provincial Agricultural Department and BIOMA were present at the opening ceremony.

Mr. CAI Junjun, Division Director of International Cooperation of Sichuan Provincial Agricultural Department, extended warm welcome to all participants and wished the training a full success.

Ms. CAI Ping,BIOMA’s CPC Party Secretary,expressed gratitude in her speech to MoA and Sichuan Provincial Agricultural Department for their long time support and guidance to BIOMA’s international training course. And she believed that this training would be of great significance to strengthen the international exchanges and cooperation among Asian countries and all the countries along the “One Road and One Belt”.

Participant representative Mr. Lee Giok Seng from Malaysia expressed gratitude to the Chinese government in his speech and believed that it would be a good opportunity to learn about biogas and see and experience the actual applications and operations of these technologies and plants.

This course is the 68th training session held by BIOMA since its establishment. It lasts for 14 days from August 25 to September 7, and has 13 participants from 7 developing countries.
