On Aug 24, the “Seminar on Promotion and Management of Biogas for Officers in Francophone Africa” opened in Chengdu. It was sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of China, and organized by Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA). The director of Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce and BIOMA were present at the opening ceremony.

This course is the 81^st training session held by BIOMA since its establishment. 43 participants from 11 countries including Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Republic of the Congo, Tunisia attended this course. It lasts for 21 days from Aug 24 to Sept 13. After training in Chengdu, the participants will fly to Kunmin and Beijing to study and communication.
