September 6, 2012, jointly organized by Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)-and Biogas Institute of - Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA), the People's Republic of China, the opening ceremony of “2012 Seminar on Biogas Promotion for Management Officials from Developing Countries" was warmly held in Biogas Research Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA), People's Republic of China. Chen Hongying, Division Director of International Department of Ministry of Commerce, The People's Republic of China; Mr. Ma Jian, National Project Coordinator, UNIDO Representative Office in China; Zuo Xiaobo, Commissioner of Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China in Chengdu Branch; Lu Ping Division Director of Department of Commerce, People's Government of Sichuan Province; Xu Kun, Division Director of Department of Commerce, People's Government of Sichuan Province, Chengjun Jia, Division Director, of Department of Commerce, People's Government of Sichuan Province, Fang Xiang, CCPC Party Secretary of Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA), People's Republic of China, the teacher’s representatives and participants representative of the international Seminar still-presented the opening ceremony. This seminar is the 51st international training course that has ever been held in BIOMA since the funding.

Mr. VILLOTA ELMAR, from the Philippines, on behalf of all the participants present a speech, in which he presented his heartfelt thanks to the Chinese government for the kind invitation and warm reception to attend the training course, hopefully, that this is an opportunity to carry out cooperation with China in field of biogas promotion management

The training, since September 6, 2012 to September 26, 2012, Totally 20 participants from 11 countries as Ghana, Pakistan, Venezuela, Azerbaijan etc. attended the training with duration of 20-days.

8 experts from Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA), the People's Republic of China, Sichuan Provincial Rural Energy Office, Rural Energy Office of Guizhou Province, International Cooperation Bureau of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) and National Agricultural Technology Promotion Center presented their lectures entitled around as follows: Biogas Technology in China; The Status and Development of Large and Medium-Sized Biogas Plants; Operation and Management of Large and Medium Sized Biogas Plants in Rural Areas of China; Construction Management of Rural Biogas Digesters in Rural Areas of China; Service Management of Rural Biogas Digesters in China; the promotion and development of biogas technology in the less developed western regions of China; Promotional Progress of Agricultural Science and Technology in China; International Cooperation of Agricultural Technology Extension System in China. During the period of training study tours in Chengdu: Sichuan Province, the participants visited some of Biogas engineering enterprises as Qionglai pig farm biogas project in Xinjin County, Straw Biogas Project, in Shuangliu, county, Yongan Biogas Technology Promotion-Cooperatives and  Chengdu Shuangliu HONGQI FRP INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD. In addition, the participants respectively went to Guizhou Province an underdeveloped region for the investigation of biogas construction, then, paid their visit to the new rural village construction in Beijing, afterwards, having the discussion with the leadership of International Cooperation Bureau of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences(CAAS) on International cooperation issues on agricultural Technology.

Before the opening ceremony, Mr. Ma Jian, national projects Coordinator of the United Nations UNIDO-Representative Office in China briefed to the participants on UNIDO project progressive situation in the field of renewable energy, especially biogas field and encourage the participants to apply for UNIDO projects with offerings of project establishment guidance.Graduation closing ceremony was held in the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).Chinese Mr. Gong Xi-feng, Deputy tor of International Cooperation Bureau of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences( CAAS) attended the graduation closing ceremony; and Ms. TETTEY GIFTY DELALI from Ministry of Energy of Ghana, on behalf of participants made a statement in the closing ceremony. She highly assessed the success of the seminar, and expressed her deeply thanks to the Chinese government made great effort to in the aspect of biogas technology promotion for developing countries, presenting the intention to cooperate with China in the related technical fields. In addition, Mr. SIYAL ABDUL WAHAB, a participant fromPakistanalso presented a poem to express his love ofChina, fondly thinking and feelings of sadness when he departures China.
